City
of Stockbridge -
Town Center
Realities is excited to be working with the City of Stockbridge, Georgia
on the land assemblage for a
new
Town Center! TCR will handle the assemblage of approximately 25 acres
which will include an expanded City Hall, green plaza for public
functions, new infrastructure and streetscape program with sidewalks
through-out the entire development. TCR will work directly with the
city’s Redevelopment Agency to establish a 5, 10 and 15 year program of
quality pedestrian growth,
which will include not only the new city hall, but office, residential,
retail, protected wetlands areas and
connectivity to schools,
churches and existing parks.

City of Kennesaw
Town
Center Realities
wrote an LCI Study grant for The City of Kennesaw.
Kennesaw is a historic small town with a traditional bedroom community in
the North Atlanta marketplace. The grant will provide funds to the City to
complete a study, which will support and enhance a 30-acre pedestrian-scale,
walkable, mixed-use town center and a 30-acre recreational center that will
connect the historic and civic heart of Kennesaw with the surrounding
neighborhoods. The land has already been assembled and is owned by the City of
Kennesaw.
The
master plan includes 20,000-40,000 square feet of specialty retail and
restaurant uses in the historic downtown and 200,000 to 250,000 square feet of
retail with office/residential mixed-use space above. While the project has an
overall pedestrian orientation, it includes auto access, bicycle connections to
surrounding neighborhoods, and planned light rail connection to downtown
Atlanta. The planned Kennesaw
Theatre adds another compelling component to the project.
The City of Kennesaw was awarded $85,000.00 grant money, by the ARC in
February 2003.
